David Jensen is a painter with patrons across the United States, Great Britain and Europe. His paintings have been featured in one-man shows and have won numerous awards in group exhibitions.

He received a BFA degree from Minneapolis College of Art and Design and a Masters degree from the College of Notre Dame in Belmont CA.

His fine art training proved to be an asset in creating award winning illustrations for advertising agencies in the San Francisco Bay Area. He worked for a leading software company as a computer artist and animator. His fine art training brought a style and panache that helped his company become a leader in the industry.

Today he is able to pursue his first love, oil painting on a full time basis. His primary influences are the French Impressionist and the California Impressionist.

He has taught painting classes at the Sonoma Community Center and conducts workshops where the primary emphasis is on basic disciplines of painting.
